Creating Your Custom Cornhole Board

Playing cornhole is becoming increasingly popular. Another factor gaining in popularity is getting your own custom cornhole boards

Of course, you can always choose pre-made options with different themes and designs, but why not take it one step further and get a fully personalized look? It’s a great way to stand apart from everyone else and have a board that really represents you!

If you’re going to create a custom board, you might need a little bit of guidance to get it right. Check out these tips before you get started!

Choose Your Design Elements

The first thing that you need to do is figure out just what kind of design you want. Since it’s customized, the sky is literally the limit. If you have a photo for inspiration, this could be helpful to the designers. Or you can sketch your idea, or even describe it to the best of your ability.

You need to be as detailed as possible here for the artist to bring your design to life. Think about colors, photos, styles, and all of the little parts of the design. If you’re using specific artwork, like a family photo, be sure to add this to your design request.

Most of the time, a custom board designer can bring just about any idea to life. There may be some tweaks or changes along the way before your board is made, but this is your starting point.

Once you’ve made your decision on the design, go ahead and submit that request to the company you plan to have make the board. Follow their steps to input your request.

Review and Make Necessary Changes

Once we get your request, a designer will create a mock-up for you to see what the design will look like on a board. You will get a copy of this, so think of it as a rough draft. You might get the draft back and decide you don’t really like it the way it looks, or perhaps even decide to make some changes.

Of course, you might also decide it’s perfect and you’re ready to jump in!

This is your chance to pinpoint any aspect of the design that you won’t be happy with. Once you approve the design to move forward, it will be too late to change your mind. The board will not be produced until you approve it.

Keep in mind that designing the initial draft and then making changes can take some time. The designer wants to get the details as close as they can to your specifications.

Now for the Waiting

Once you approve that design, your board will go into production. Most companies will construct the board itself and then finish with adding the design to the board after construction. You will want to make sure that your board gets some sort of sealant in order to protect the design.

The crafting and production process can vary, but the waiting will be well worth it when you get that finished board in your hands!

Order Your Custom Cornhole Board

When you’re ready to get started, the process is pretty simple. You just need to tackle the design process and be patient as well. Order your custom cornhole board and head out to enjoy some fun!
